The staff of the International Relations Office participated in the inaugural day of the new academic year 2024/2024 with an informational booth where the interested first year students learned more about the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme. In the same time, a Welcome Day was held for 66 international students from partner universities who have chosen to spend a semester at the University of Zadar. Antonija Čirjak Debuš from the International Relations Office introduced the students to the university and informed them about their administrative duties related to the mobility period. Local students from the ESN Zadar presented their work and shared the detailed plan of activities tailored for the incoming students. In addition to the mentioned presentations, the students were given a tour of the university and the historical centre of Zadar. During the first week of mobility, the incoming students will have chance to take part in informative sessions held by the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service and the Student Counseling Center aimed to raise awareness about potential dangers and enhance safety during outdoor excursions, as well as to provide psychological assistance and support that students may need during their time in a foreign country.
