The International Relations Office at the University of Zadar welcomed 75 international students for the summer semester on 17 February, marking the occasion with two days full of activities, introductions, and new friendships.

Antonija Čirjak Debuš from the International Relations Office introduced the students to the university, the city, and the region, guiding them through essential administrative procedures.

Emphasising the importance of community, Ena Lesandrić from ESN Zadar presented their activity plan, ensuring students have plenty of opportunities to connect, explore, and make the most of their time in Zadar. Guided tours of the university and the historic old town helped students familiarise themselves with their new surroundings.

Ivana Sučić Šantek and Severina Mamić from the Student Counselling Centre shared insights into the psychological support and assistance available to international students.
Meanwhile, Josip Kinda from the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service provided practical tips on outdoor safety and staying prepared for nature adventures.

With a semester full of opportunities ahead, the new arrivals are ready to make unforgettable memories in Zadar.
